In a tragic incident, Nadhoya Sheila, a 20-year-old student at Kiribaki Secondary School in Iganga District, was found dead this morning. Her body was discovered in a culvert, marking a shocking end to a promising young life. The State House Health Monitoring Unit has suspended several health workers at Nakavule Hospital in Iganga due to corruption. Dr. Walle Namara, the executive director of the unit, reported on the misuse of funds at Iganga District Headquarters. Billions of shillings were found missing from the hospital’s budget. Prime Minister Robina Nabanjja visited Iganga District to launch a special project where members of Parliament received heifer cattle. This project, promised by the President, involved giving 10 heifers to each member of Parliament, totaling 500 heifers and costing 1.5 billion shillings.
