The Delton Bar and Lodge, located in Katwe zone in Bugembe, Jinja city, has come under intense scrutiny due to allegations that it facilitated an environment where Paul Mwanje, a suspect facing charges of aggravated defilement, allegedly sexually abused his own daughter. In a shocking development, a police constable identified as Mugoya Salim, stationed at Namaganga Police Station under the territorial police of Kakira Central Police Station, is currently on the run after allegedly committing multiple acts of rape against a 20-year-old female suspect while she was in custody. The suspect, Paul Mwanje resident of Katende zone, Bugembe, Northern division, Jinja city has been allegedly defiling his own 14-year-old daughter from a yet to be identified lodge in Bugembe between the months of January and February 2024. Intensified search has been launched against James Mulopa, a local bar operator Kalamoya zone in Buwenge town council Jinja district following the alleged death of a customer at the bar premises.
