In the early hours of Friday, July 19, 2024, Aramanzan Lutalo, 19, Tenywa Muzamiru, and Stephen Kalulu, 60, were attacked by unidentified individuals at 5 a.m. in Kyamagwa cell, Mafubira, Jinja City. Kamuli: Aisha Nabukeera, the boss of Kamuli magistrate court, ruled that Suzan Namuganza, who cut off her husband’s penis, should spend 15 years in jail. The embattled Namuganza pleaded guilty to committing the crime, which the court described as attempted murder. Namayingo: The Parish Development Model (PDM) SACCO chairman for Bubango Parish, Buswale Subcounty in Namayingo was on Friday July 5, 2024, arrested and detained on allegations of exhortion of money from beneficiaries. On Sunday, June 30, 2024, hundreds of thousands of people gathered in Buwala village, Irongo subcounty, Luuka district, to say goodbye to Giladys Aliyinza.
