David Musasizi, popularly known as Didus King Kabaka, a prominent music producer in the Busoga music industry, is currently in a critical condition and receiving medical care at Jonathan Clinic in Kayunga District. The talented producer, best known for his work on hits such as Land Sojja’s “Mugole,” has been battling diabetes, which has left him bedridden and unable to communicate.

In the past three days, Didus experienced a sudden and severe health setback, causing him to lose consciousness and rendering him unable to recognize people or speak. However, there is a glimmer of hope as his condition is said to be gradually improving.

Geoffrey Muzaale, also known by his stage name Geobless, has provided an update on Didus’ condition, stating that he is receiving appropriate treatment and care that could potentially lead to his recovery.

“Medical professionals have informed us that Didus is not dealing with inherited diabetes, and there is hope for a complete cure. We believe in the power of prayers and remain optimistic that he will regain his health,” says Geobless.

Didus was formerly a senior producer at Ava Music Studio before joining Jay Records, now Fada Records. He is currently pursuing his career at a studio in Kampala, where he fell ill. Some of the notable songs produced by Didus King Kabaka include “Kintu Kidogo” by Geobless, “Mugole” by Land Sojja, and “Mukanzimyenzimye” by Rachel Monique.

Geobless adds, “There has been some progress, as Didus can now communicate to some extent and recognize individuals. Earlier this evening, we were able to have a brief conversation with him. However, he is still in need of prayers and support during this challenging time.”

The news of Didus King Kabaka’s illness has deeply saddened the Busoga music community and fans alike. Many have expressed their concern and offered prayers for his speedy recovery. The music producer’s talent and contributions to the industry have left a lasting impact, and his absence is deeply felt.

The Busoga music fraternity remains hopeful that Didus will regain his health and resume his creative work. In the meantime, artists, fans, and well-wishers continue to rally together, sending their thoughts, prayers, and well wishes to Didus King Kabaka in his fight against illness.
