JINJA: Police in Jinja have detained a one Shakira Naigaga on allegations of trafficking three minors. The 20-year-old Naigaga is a resident of Busia district though sometimes stays in Nansana, Kampala. It is reported that the suspect went to Namwendwa town in Kamuli district and seduced three juveniles; Rosemary Natasha, Immaculate Naigaga and Viola Nantabo. Jinja: Authorities from Fairland University in Jinja have ran to court following the illegal settlement of the Uganda People’s Defense Forcers (UPDF) on the university land. The 10-acre-land (plot M149) is at Kimaka opposite the army school, Kimaka Senior Command and Staff College in the southern division of Jinja city. It has been 20 years since the diocese of Jinja last animated the Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations at Namugongo Martyrs Shrine. The diocese last animated the highly billed religious event in 2002 under the then bishop Joseph Willigers.
