Its not far way from the time Alex Isabirye was announced as the new head coach of the Kitende based side, Vipers SC, but his first task will be to  arrange his squad ahead of his first match against Wakiso Giants FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in Uganda Cup today at 4PM.

In his recent interview, Alex mentioned about the quality in the squad and revealed on some of the ways he plans to do to lift a wounded side that failed to score in the last seven games.

“I will sit down with the technical staff which has been with players for a longer period to come up with a better strategy, but most of them know me and I know them as well,” mentioned Alex Isabirye.

“The quality in the team says it all but for me, the main job will be to first work on the mentality and attitude of the players,” added Alex Isabirye.

The gaffer comes to today’s game after leading BUL FC past SC Villa in a 1-0 win at his former club but this will be totally a new a chapter for him as the demands will seem to be higher than on his previous job.

This will be the third meeting for both clubs this season after registering draws in both engagements and whoever wins, will progress to the next round of the competition.

At Kavumba, Bright Stars will face Buganda Regional side Kiyinda Boys in the second game of the day at 4pm local time.
