    Mourning the loss of Prince Connie Inhensiko; A pillar of Luuka district

    Residents of Luuka district and Luuka chiefdom are in deep mourning after receiving the sad news of the death of Prince Connie Inhensiko. Prince Steve J’Connie Inhenco was a lecture at Kaliro Primary Teachers’ College located in Kaliro district. At the time of his death, he had been serving as the chairperson of the elders’ council in Luuka chiefdom and also the chairperson of the health management committee at Kiyunga Health Center IV in Luuka district.

    He passed on at Musana Hospital in Iganga, and news of his death quickly spread through Luuka social media platforms.

    On Sunday evening, the Luuka chiefdom called a press conference to officially announce the passing of the late Inhensico Steve J’Connie. The prime minister of the Luuka Chiefdom, Owek. Lwiigo David Igulu Isabirye Ngulungu, apologized to Tabingwa for the death of the prince and explained the funeral arrangements.

    On Monday, March 11th, 2024, the deceased will stay at Budhabangula, Luuka town council in Luuka district. On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, he will be taken to Luuka council, where he will be appreciated for his services to Luuka and Uganda at large.

    “It is our deepest condolences to our father Tabingwa on the passing away of the Chairman of the Luuka Royal Elder’s Council, Prof. Engineer Steve J’Connie Inhensico. It is very sad for the Luuka chiefdom, especially for the Baise Ngobi clan. Funeral arrangements are as follows:

    The  late will sleep at his palace in Budhabangula, Luuka town council, in Luuka district. On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, he will be taken to Luuka council, starting at 9 am, where we will appreciate his services. Afterward, he will be brought back to Coach INN, where there will be speeches and prayers for the soul of the deceased. Then, at 3:00 pm, he will be taken to his permanent home,” Lwiigo said.

    “It is not my usual practice, but on behalf of Tabingwa, I would like to inform you of the sad news that we have lost Prince J’Connie Inhensico, whom most of you know as the Connie of Budhabangula. We are in the process of preparing for the funeral, which will take place on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, this week. Very sad,” Kyobe said.
