After observing individuals who were afflicted with various chronic ailments and believed they would never be treated, Miracle Health Care was established in Kampala in 2015. They observed that many were miserable and in great pain and lacked self-care skills.

They observed that people were in great discomfort, miserable, and ill-equipped to care for themselves. But it became clear that they would be treating these individuals through nutrition, herbs, vitamins, and spices.

After refining that concept, it was registered and incorporated in 2016, at which point they began operating out of Kampala. As they were operating out of Kampala, the nearby areas began to request that they expand their services to include them.

They began reaching out to other areas to raise awareness of health issues, and later they had to open additional branches in Zzana and Jinja in 2019.

“We chose to locate our head office in Jinja city Nalufenya plot 9 on Jackson Crescent Road due to the high demand from the various communities in the Busoga region. Our services are available every day of the week between the hours of 7am and 6pm, making it easier for people who report to work very early in the morning and leave late at night to access them,” says Dr Patrick Kizito.

They began seeking out additional dietitians and wellness specialists to assist them in expanding their services to various locations.

“We treat disorders including Diabetes type 2; high blood pressure; obesity/overweight; and cancer stages 1–3 at Miracle Health Care and Wellness Center. We are able to treat these situations using nutrition and medicinal herbs,” Dr Kizito explained.

Simon Tabalo, 45, a resident of Butiiki, Kiatabawala, Jinja district, recalls how Jinja main hospital diagnosed him with diabetes and started him on medication, but after spending a lot of money on tabs, there was little improvement. He was persuaded by a coworker to give herbal medicine a shot, and was then sent to the Miracle Wellness Center where Dr Patrick Kizito prescribed herbal medicine that has proven successful for him because he has no issues and feels great.

At miracle health care and wellness center, they established a standard payment of Shs20,000 that enables people to get consultation for a full year. This was done because they wanted to reach and assist everyone, including those from low-income backgrounds. Following a consultation, they provide dietary recommendations and care utilizing their products.

They produce a range of wellness products, including miracle mega multi tea, which has a number of health benefits, including blood circulation improvement, respiratory issues treatment, heart health protection, kidney stone prevention, and anti-inflammation and detoxification of the body.
