Gaddafi FC made a dramatic comeback against struggling Express Football Club at Gaddafi Area, securing a crucial win that lifted them to 14th place on the league table, tied with Busoga United.

The match kicked off with Gaddafi FC scoring early in the second minute courtesy of Frank Mulimi. However, Express quickly responded, with Marvi Oshaba equalizing just four minutes later. Express then took the lead through Marvin Oshaba in the 14th minute, ending the first half ahead.

In the second half, Gaddafi FC intensified their efforts and managed to level the score in the 78th minute thanks to David Bagole.

As the game approached stoppage time, Bagole Davide completed his brace, securing a crucial victory for Gaddafi FC.

A moment of silence was observed before the match in honor of the late Coach Fred Kajoba, who passed away on Monday, May 13th.

With this win, Gaddafi FC now has 25 points from 28 games, tied with Busoga United but sitting in 14th place due to head-to-head results.

As only one team (Arua Hills) has been confirmed relegated, the battle to avoid relegation is still ongoing among three teams: Busoga United, UPDF FC, and Gaddafi FC. One of these teams will secure their spot in the league after the final match on Saturday.

Gaddafi FC will face Kitara, Busoga United will take on BUL FC, and UPDF will play against Wakiso Giants on the last matchday of the season on Saturday.
