In a significant stride towards youth empowerment and community development, Gabula Royal has joined forces with Innovation Village to uplift and support young people in the Busoga region and beyond. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) marks the beginning of a transformative journey aimed at providing opportunities and resources for youth development over the next three years.

The collaborative effort between Gabula Royal and Innovation Village underscores a shared commitment to drive positive change and create pathways for young individuals to thrive. Through a comprehensive approach encompassing skill development, capacity building, and entrepreneurship training, the partnership seeks to equip 30,000 youth with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in various sectors.

Isaac Imaka, Executive Director of Gabula Royal, expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential impact on youth empowerment. “Today, our visions have converged to empower the youth and propel them towards success,” he remarked. “By pooling our expertise and resources, we aim to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance among young people in the Busoga region.”

Similarly, CK Japheth, representing Innovation Village, emphasized the importance of youth-focused initiatives in driving economic growth and community development. “At Innovation Village, our commitment extends beyond conventional collaboration. We envision a future where entrepreneurship flourishes, and today’s partnership is a crucial step towards realizing that vision,” he stated.

Through mentorship, targeted interventions, and access to opportunities, Gabula Royal and Innovation Village aspire to cultivate a generation of empowered youth who can contribute meaningfully to their communities. By nurturing talent, fostering innovation, and creating sustainable pathways to economic prosperity, the partnership aims to unlock the untapped potential of young people in the Busoga region.

The Gabula Royal Foundation is a legacy Foundation started by the HRH William Nadiope IV to contribute to the development of Busoga by focusing on four pillars: Education, Health, Youth Development, Girls and Women.
