    Fight for final spot continues after Day one |Batball Open Central Edition

    After day one of the  anticipated Batball Open Central Edition, the hype matched what exactly happened at the Lakeside oval during the five games played with two teams fighting for a final spot of the tournament.

    Four teams constituting young cricketing talent under the age of 19 under four teams named after common bird names in central region of Uganda kicked off the tournament on Saturday in Entebbe.

    Naddibanga and Kalooli are still unbeaten after both picking two wins in the two games they engaged in, but will face off in the opening game of day two to decide who books the final spot of the tournament.

    Ensega picked up a 30 run win against winless Akasumagizi, but both will have to battle it out  in the fourth and third playoff game to confirm who progresses to the next round of the tournament.

    Off the field, the Fight Against AIDS message is being pushed both online and offline for the social impact of the tournament, as its one of the challenges we are facing in the country most especially in a young country like Uganda.

    Kalooli won 9 by against Ensega

    Naddibanga won by 10 wickets against

    Naddibanga won by 8 wickets against Akasumagizi

    Kalooli won by 7 wickets against Akasumagizi

    Ensaga won 30 runs against Akasumagizi
