The second edition is scheduled to start on 15th-19th May 2023 and conclude with the last game from 22nd -26th May 2023 at Jinja SS cricket oval and its open to active players but mostly youngsters who are making it through the ranks should be eligible to play.

The two teams to play will bear the same names as those of the first edition (Busoowoko and Itanda) and will done all whites throughout the two games.

Talking to Charles Waiswa, the sports director of East Enders who revealed on how the competition is similar to the first edition as the same format of play will be seen in the two scheduled games.

“This longer version of cricket will help test the players mind and physical fitness as we look to teach the young cricketers to have better skills and mindset to play for extended periods of time,” Charles Waiswa added by calling everyone to come and support, enjoy and be part of the longer version of the game as much is expected from the second edition.

The second edition comes a few weeks after East Enders and the governing body of cricket in the country signed a memorandum of understanding to take full control of cricket in the region.
