BUL FC staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 2-1 victory against Bright Stars in a captivating encounter at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.

Bright Stars took the lead late in the first half with a goal from Shafik Kakande, but BUL FC showed resilience and determination in the second half.

Walter Ochola equalized for BUL FC with a powerful header from Jerome Kirya’s free kick, igniting hope for a turnaround.

The decisive moment came when Jerome Kirya capitalized on a goalkeeping error to slot home the winning goal, sealing the victory for BUL FC.

The win marks BUL FC’s return to winning ways after a series of league games without a victory, solidifying their position at the top of the table.

Despite Bright Stars’ spirited performance, they were unable to hold on to their lead, remaining in ninth place on the table with 21 points.

BUL FC’s next challenge will be against Maroons in Luzira, while Bright Stars will host Express FC in their upcoming fixture.
