BUL FC has secured key players for the upcoming season with several contract extensions so far. Ibrahim Mugulusi, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder known for his agility on the field, has committed to the Eastern Giants with a new two-year deal.

Mugulusi, instrumental in BUL’s recent successes including a Uganda Cup victory in 2021, expressed his delight in continuing with the club, stating, “Signing this new contract makes me proud because this feels like home.”

Joining Mugulusi in extending their tenure are defender Benon Tahomera and midfielder Anthony Mayanja.

Tahomera, who made twelve appearances last season, emphasized his growth since joining BUL two years ago: “I’m thrilled to extend my stay here. I’ve grown a lot as a person and as a player, and I’m determined to contribute to the club’s success.” Mayanja, despite missing last season due to injury, remains a pivotal figure at BUL, having signed a new one-year contract that ties him to the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The club bids farewell to defender Ronald Otti, who played a crucial role during his time at BUL. Otti’s departure marks a new chapter for him, with BUL FC expressing gratitude for his contributions and wishing him well in his future endeavors.
