BUL FC grabbed a crucial 1-0 victory over URA FC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League at Hamz Nakivubo Stadium to secure their first win of the season. Pascal Ngobi’s early goal made the difference, giving BUL a much-needed confidence boost after a poor run of results.

The match started with BUL FC on the front foot, and they took advantage just four minutes in. Pascal Ngobi capitalized on a defensive error by URA’s Fazial Matovu, calmly slotting the ball into the net. It was a perfect response from a team that had struggled in their previous four league matches, failing to win any of them.

Despite trailing early, URA FC fought hard to get back into the game. They created several chances, particularly through Huudu Mulikyi, who was twice denied by BUL’s goalkeeper, Mutakubwa. The second half saw URA dominate possession, with their best chance coming when Bruno Bunyaga’s shot hit the crossbar.

URA FC’s frustration peaked in the final minute when they were denied a penalty after Ivan Ahimbisibwe was brought down in the box by BUL’s Hillary Onek.

With this result, BUL FC moves up to 12th place with 5 points, breaking a winless streak and reigniting hope for a stronger run this season while URA FC remains in 6th place with 7 points.
