At Lakeside Oval, Wanderers claimed a nail-biting 2-run win over Kutchi Tigers to secure a spot in this year’s UCA UG T20 semifinals. Kutchi Tigers won the toss and put Wanderers in to bat. Despite a slow start, Wanderers were carried by Sharif Suleman (58 off 49) and Wasim Butt (53 off 46), with Abu Seguya adding 12 runs. Wanderers posted 140/7 in their 20 overs.

Kutchi Tigers began their chase on fire, with all openers hitting double figures. Hasin Ashani (34 off 35) and Chaudhery Anish (32 off 25) kept Tigers in the game. However, after they fell, the Tigers faltered in the final overs. Needing 11 runs off the last 6 balls, Kutchi Tigers couldn’t break Wanderers’ defense and fell short by 2 runs.

In the afternoon at the same venue, Ceylon Lions cruised to an 83-run win over Avengers, thanks to Obuya Robinson’s explosive 72, Charles Musemeza’s 37, and Ankit Patel’s 20. The win sets up a semifinal showdown between Ceylon Lions and Wanderers.

At Jinja SS Cricket Oval, Tornado set a target of 138, led by Calvin Watuwa’s blistering 71 off 37 balls. Tornado’s bowlers then delivered, earning a 65-run win over KC Budo.

In a tight contest, Rounders chased down Nyakasura’s 137, winning by just 1 wicket in the 19th over, securing their semifinal clash against Tornado.
