Jinja: Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled showdown as the National Rally Championship (NRC) returns to Jinja for the highly anticipated fourth round of the championship. With over 30 competitive crews ready to hit the tracks, expect fierce battles and high-stakes racing as they vie for crucial points in their respective categories.

Leading the charge in the championship are the formidable duo of Yasin Nasser and Ali Katumba from the Moil Rally Team. Currently holding a commanding 57-point lead over their closest rival, Duncan Mubiru, they are determined to extend their advantage and solidify their position at the top of the standings. But Mubiru won’t back down easily and will be on a mission to close the gap and keep the title race alive.

However, it’s not just the top contenders who will be chasing glory. Ronald Sebuguzi, Byron Rugomoka, Hassan Alwi, and other skilled drivers will be giving their all to secure maximum points and keep their championship dreams alive. Expect intense rivalries and thrilling performances as they push their limits on the challenging Jinja rally tracks.

Adding to the excitement, the Jinja rally will witness the debut of a new crew that is set to shake things up. Ali Omar Yasser, widely known as ‘Bobo,’ will team up with his younger brother Wazir Omar for their first full rally outing together. While they have made their mark in motocross, their entry into the rally scene brings a fresh dynamic to the Clubman Rally Championship, fueling anticipation among spectators and enthusiasts alike.

The Moil EMC (Eastern Motor Club) has crafted an exhilarating course for the rally, featuring two stages that will be repeated thrice, along with a challenging double circuit at the iconic Bujagali location. This demanding setup will test the skills, endurance, and resilience of the drivers, delivering a thrilling experience for both participants and passionate fans.

As the NRC title chase returns to Jinja, motorsport enthusiasts can look forward to a captivating weekend filled with intense competition, strategic maneuvers, and heart-stopping moments. The battles unfolding on the rally tracks will shape the destiny of the championship and set the stage for even more excitement in the upcoming rounds.
