    Batball launches 4th regional tournament at Lugogo

    Batball Uganda limited, together with its partners launched Batball Open Central edition at lugogo cricket oval, an event that is in line with carving pathways for the cricket talent of Uganda through grassroot to Global model based on progressive tournaments.

    Four teams (Naddibanga, Ensega, Kalooli and Akasumagizi) will compete over the weekend of 18th-19th day of March 2023 at Entebbe cricket oval amidst local crowds, TV viewership in Uganda, Africa and beyond with boys under the age of 19 in a ten overs aside format.

    “Once again we are here for the fourth regional Batball Open tournament after successfully carrying out the previous three editions(East, Nile and North) and our hopes are high that central will be an entertaining one,” said Martin Ondeko, COO Batball Uganda limited.

    “At the end of the event, 16 best players will be selected to represent Central region at the upcoming Batball X tournament later this year,” mentioned Martin Ondeko.

    Like in the previous editions, data will be collected from all the 56 players that will compete in the tournament and a number of nine games will be played and broadcasted live on Batball.tv. off the field, the tournament is intended to create a social impact tagged Fight Against HIV/AIDS through various direct and indirect activities.
